Here is a chart showing the Median Sales Price in Maricopa County, by month, going all the way back to the turn of the century.
I think we are all aware of the 2005 Bubble and the 2008 Bust, but it's interesting to see how perfectly the current upward trend matches up with the pre-bubble trend from the early 2000's. Get rid of the boom and bust, and our market is tracking a very strong 4.6% annual appreciation rate. (maybe too strong for the long term, actually..)
