June is the busiest month; January is the slowest

Looking at the last 2 years' Sales Volume by Month, it's clear to see how much more activity there is in the late spring and summer than in the winter months.

Assuming most escrows take about a month to close, May would be the busiest month for making offers, and December would be the slowest (which makes sense due to the Holiday Season.)
